GRAV. (lithographie). Opération consistant à mettre en relief certaines parties par l'action d'un acide le long de leur contour :
L'acidulation [consiste à] mettre la composition en relief [en rongeant] la pierre tout autour des parties protégées désormais par la cristallisation de la résine.
